Scottish Jazz Expo

Above: Konrad Wiszniewski

Through the Expo, the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival promotes what’s exciting in Scottish jazz, and stimulates new projects and ideas. This year's Scottish Jazz Expo programme brims with new bands, new collaborations; musicians who have created a unique sound and musicians who have something special to say every time they perform.

In 2009, we launch a major new initiative, the Edinburgh Jazz Festival Orchestra. Dave Milligan and Joe Temperley are the creative forces leading the band.

The diversity and excellence of the EXPO programme reflects the highly talented pool of jazz musicians currently living and working in Scotland.

The Scottish Jazz Expo is supported through the Scottish Government's Edinburgh Festivals Expo Fund.
